About the Journal

BAKTI UNIBA: Jurnal Pengabdian Masyarakat is a peer-reviewed, open-access journal published by Universitas Balikpapan, Balikpapan, East Kalimantan, Indonesia. The journal publishes articles on community service and community empowerment that bring the results of research, science, and technology directly to society. It is published twice a year, in June and December.

The journal welcomes articles from lecturers, researchers, students, and practitioners on community service in fields such as education, digital literacy, economics and MSME empowerment, law, health, social and cultural affairs, the environment, and applied technology. Every article should describe a real problem faced by the partner community, the solution offered, how the activity was carried out, and its impact on the community.

All submitted manuscripts go through a double-blind peer review process and a plagiarism check before publication. Articles may be written in Indonesian or English and must follow the journal's article template.
